Meet with this person or persons and conduct a more in depth discovery of the clients medical and care needs, social and lifestyle tastes, financial situation and budget. We define our role as your advocate and consultant in navigating the senior living industry, and finding the most appropriate senior living communities for yourself or your loved ones.
A Sunshine Senior Placement representative will go to the clients home or care community (ie. Assisted Living, Nursing/Rehab Center, Hospital, etc.) to meet with client. A comprehensive assessment which includes physical care needs; cognitive status; social and lifestyle preferences; financial/budget, medication and chart review.
A Sunshine Senior Placement representative will pick up client or representative, or if preferred will meet them at first community. We support the client during the tour with the community Marketing Director. Generally two communities are toured per day, which can include lunch at one of the communities. The client can see more communities if needed. We record and summarize each tour and provide this information to the client.
A Sunshine Senior Placement representative will select 3-4 Senior Living communities that match the prospects assessment criteria. We handle the contacting of the senior living community Marketing Liaison to identify our client, and schedule a day and time to tour our client. We will request a community brochure be mailed to our client and representatives as well.
Sunshine Senior Placement will continue to follow up with client and their representative throughout the transition from home to the community they have chosen. We will be in constant contact with the Marketing Liaison from community, and can assist our client at lease signing and ensuring they receive the best incentives and deals available.
Client and representatives will be offered access to the “Florida Senior Care Solutions” group, which provides further comprehensive services that our client may need in order to make a seamless and positive transition. This includes: Elder law attorneys, Veterans & Medicaid Benefits, Insurance, Realtor, Mover, Estate Settler, Home Care, Geriatric Care Management, and Medical Supplies.
